Online Instructional Resources

The goal of this area is to showcase all of the readily available resources that parents and teachers can use to enhance students' learning experience.  These resources may include files to download, apps for instruction, lesson ideas, and/or directions for learning tools used in the classroom.  Some of these resources may be blocked at school.  I apologize for the inconvenience.  This page is facilitated by Mandy Dudley.  Please feel free to contact me with questions or comments at dudley@frankfort.k12.in.us

  • Quizlet - access premade flashcards or make your own.  While this is an app, you can also access all of the same material on www.quizlet.com.  There is a great collection of word family flashcards created in Quizlet that can be accessed by clicking here.


Online Resources That Need to be Shared....Because They're Awesome!

  • Amazing Handwriting Worksheet Maker  -Create & Pring custom handwriting worksheets in seconds!!!
  • Free Tech for Teachers- resources and lesson plans for teaching with technology (**Make sure to check out the "Favorite Resources" section!)
  • Teachers Pay Teachers- an open marketplace for educators where teachers buy, sell and share original teaching resources.  There are a lot of free resources on this site, so you should really take a look!
  • Education.com - activities galore searchable by subject matter and/or grade level
  • Scoop.it! - articles concerning iPads in Education
  • Quizlet - (see information listed in the "App-lications" section)
  • Carnazzos' Class Wiki - a great resource from an amazing elementary teacher.  Her links for "Reading Sites" and "Word Family Flashcards" are just a small sample of the information this amazing site has to offer!
  • We Give Books- We Give Books is a new digital initiative that enables anyone with access to the Internet to put books in the hands of children who don't have them, simply by reading online.
