about 96 so we're just under that Debbie came this is King will be calling about 12 tomorrow to add those to the list but that were just a little under where we were last year so I'm asking for your approval for the Sutton on District transfers second hand emotion from Mandy second from bud any questions at least not the ones that you're calling to have been here in the past that correct and they just assume they're going to Camp, so I'm going to ask to some bar most of them are people who've at reapplying from previous years are questions regarding the student on presidents do I'm done call for the vote on favorite say hi how to save sign and once again I am staying on that with his case is there anything else that doesn't cause this evening I do have a question the transfers how many have we lost a supposed to have me that we have we don't want we don't know currently we get that information and the Young spring of the year so our last report that we have we have lost 496 and so there are about 500 kids to live within City Limits who attend about 230 go to Clinton Prairie 101 go to punch Central 40 good rod spell and then there are a total of 450 that go to a school district and in the other sir just one here and there are some others there are a number of them who go to they're about 40 to go to one of the online academies and then there's some other online cat face but the Indiana Connections Academy takes about 42 of the majority go to Grand Prairie clinic Central so we're in the works this year doing things that we can to get those kids back on fortunate that we bought last night and as you probably all have received in the mail that little brochure from Clinton Central which I thought was extremely interested I am not sitting around in our community, but actual characters little cute Brevard schools three of them coming into town in those 500 I mean that's over time we haven't lost those all all that generous year in when Joel and I were looking at those last spring none of those are starting school within that the school district's not necessarily were not losing them they're not going to us until you know 5th graders taking off those with. kindergarten starting in kindergarten but yes it is unfortunate and we're going to do what we can to get those kids back what the reasoning know if it's something personal is helping we're not offering the right curriculum for the night or whatever I understand but I drove my home that goes to Clinton Prairie and to me I find that to be unsettling and I didn't I just I would like for us and I know you've mentioned that I've been real sick too but I just find it I think we we just have to do everything we can to be able to bring kids back from Justice culture of every building that saying that the calls are bad just we've got to be able to publicize that not what our culture is like and it be able to invite community in Karen mentioned the cash program that just really sad that you know while back and in bringing some of those Community forums back again to be able to attend and be able to get people under buildings but also just promoting her so the Great Danes were doing so that'll be very intentional in the upcoming years it just being intentional about highlighting our our programs and our staff and our kids and intentional about it one thing we'll have our our Amanda Graham Bishop will be taking to our our students just a marketing program price that's one aspect of of how we can market and who better to know that there are kids which is unfortunate that we have to look at our students are children as a commodity and that's what they are when you figure out how much money the state gives us a year for chili and we've lost 400 $7,000 or less why don't I don't which I don't we look another commodity but based on who said happy jump through we have to we have to consider that as part of the equation about how we turned I don't need to call me in essence the way I said we are we're competing for that monies which is placed on each student I think that's why our neighbors says puffy I think that does boil down $2 for them back Austin superintendent population unfortunately when you take a look at the demographics for the district light where are they going for take a look at what we have is not like Kirkland's we got so much more to offer Those About to have any children go through when you know you know my grandkids I know what they're getting here that and I'm going to get something like that but yeah so tissues involving you know that whatever good thing we can do is hope ever having to your brothers are hotdogs good thing you do even have a face come in and say I used to sit in that chair know somebody like you do things of this nature here that we can you can succeed but one thing that we're going to have on the hot dog chatter on a monthly basis if you want to start a series called once and to have former Frankfort alumni who are doing whether they just graduated a year or two ago for the gradual walkway in a long time ago to be able to have them come in and talk about their experiences Frankfurt to highlight the great things we have to offer but to be able to bring people in to do that so I don't want to take this lying down what's going on I want us to stand up for what we know but I just wanted to sit back and safe before we go we offer you more if you are into and I don't need to say this and immediately if you're just at the FFA then you need to go out there but if you want to start a robotics we have something somewhere that we don't talk about it do whales have anything else we going to call just remind you next Monday 6 candidates for the bacon play you'll be candidates by that time right now anyway 6 next Monday evening I'm starting school and we are will be ready for kids to come to school so that the principal got a great job of going from having a double digit numbers to hire in the middle school and high school did it down under 5 at both middle school and high school and hand Blue Ridge has everyone that they need except maternity leave counselor position so we're really compared to other school districts principles data knockout job being able to hire people sending long has hired two people in one day today. Yet again she lost to happy tears and she just got to back today so they've done an excellent job so I feel like we're in a great position as I'm getting ready for school next week so next week Thursday of next week Thursday August 4th kids ready to go so great job with her team down one so all right say nothing else and motion to adjourn the second from bed before we adjourn
