Welcome back Blue Ridge Rockets! 

My name is Amy Perez, and I'm the kindergarten interventionist.  I was born and raised in Frankfort, and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to give back to the community that shaped my learning over the years.  I attended the University of Indianapolis. and upon graduation in 2005, I came back to teach at Kyger Elementary.  This is my 17th year teaching with the Community Schools of Frankfort, and I have served at Kyger, Green Meadows, Suncrest, and Blue Ridge in a variety of grade levels and roles.  

When I'm not at school, I'm busy with my four children Ellie (13), Maylie (11), William (8), and Lexie (5).  We enjoy attending events at each of their schools FMS, Green Meadows, and Blue Ridge.  My hobbies include teaching and attending group fitness classes like POUND, Strength, and Yoga.  I also love reading realistic fiction and inspirational books and shopping at local boutiques with my mom who is the Mayor of Frankfort!
