As the Director of Exceptional Needs, I bring 23 years of dedicated experience in special education. My passion lies in embracing learning challenges and helping every student grow to their fullest potential. Having worked hard as a student myself, I understand the struggles that come with new content. Additionally, growing up with a family member with a learning disability and a best friend with a cognitive disorder has given me a personal connection and a deeper understanding of these challenges.

 

I believe in being creative and fun in my approach, making learning an enjoyable journey for all. I am proud to be a part of the Frankfort Hot Dog community, where we are committed to serving the best students and staff. Together, we will continue to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for all our exceptional learners.

 

 

 

I am honored to serve as the Assistant Director of Exceptional Needs at Community Schools of Frankfort. With over a decade of experience as a special education teacher, instructional coach, and director, I am deeply committed to supporting students and staff in reaching their fullest potential. My work has always centered on building strong systems, coaching educators, and ensuring every student has the tools they need to succeed.

 

I believe in creating an environment where teachers and students feel supported, challenged, and valued. I am especially passionate about helping each student discover their strengths and giving them the opportunities they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom. I am excited to partner with our students, families, and staff to continue fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and student-centered community here in Frankfort!
